Mr. and Mrs. Calvin Peters were walking along the railroad track in the evening near the eastern city limits of Lynchburg, when a group of little men 3 ft tall, green or black in color, appeared and grabbed them. Mrs. Peters was taken some distance from the track and bound hand and foot. After 30 minutes she was released, the little men disappeared and she rejoined her husband. They called the police, who found them "covered with mud."
