An orange glowing object traveling at a slow rate of speed

An unidentifiable object was observed at close range and caused physical effects.

Project Blue Book Assessment:

I. Description of Incident

At 0200 Z two civilian sources observed an orange glowing object traveling west at a slow rate of speed north of Warner-Robbins AFB. The object was visible for 6 to 7 minutes.

II. Discussion of Incident

There ware no weather balloons released in the area, nor was there any reported aircraft traffic, but it is felt that an aircraft did cause the sighting because of the description.

III. Conclusion: Possibly aircraft.

Vallee rating: CE2: A CE1 that leaves landing traces or injuries to the witness.
