Justice of the Peace John H. Demler was driving north on Route 72 when his car stalled and the lights went out. He then saw an object, ten meters in diameter, which gave off a smell of sulfur and camphorated oil, hovering low over the car, which was pulled and rocked when the object took off. Physiological effects (perspiration and peeling skin) were reported after 12 hours. The object gave off a sound resembling an electric motor, and emitted sparks. An object was observed. Gravity and physiological effects were noted. One blue ball, about 40 feet across, about forty feet away, was observed by one experienced male witness at a mountain for two minutes. A humming sound was heard. Hynek rating: CE2: Close Encounters of the Second Kind Vallee rating: CE2: A CE1 that leaves landing traces or injuries to the witness.
