A workman cutting wood on the Augusta archery range saw two saucer-shaped objects, 30 meters and six meters in diameter, hovering in the sky. The smaller one landed, a door opened, and three pilots emerged. They looked human, but had a reddish-orange skin and staring eyes. One of them had "a long finger on his left hand." Their clothes were the same color as the craft, whose open door showed a strange light inside. The object was so highly polished that "I would bet on a clear day you could not see it at five thousand feet." The occupants spoke sounds that were not understood and reentered the object. The door outline could not be seen when it was closed.
