A reddish, round object hovered at low level
Numerous witnesses, among them policeman Paul Arteche, saw a reddish, round object hover at low level, then take off very rapidly toward the west. An object was sighted that had an appearance and performance beyond the capability of known earthly aircraft. One red ball was observed by numerous male witnesses, five of them an experienced observors, as reported to the police, in a desert for 50 minutes. Hynek rating: DD: Daylight Discs Vallee rating: CE1: UFO comes within 500 feet of the witness, but no after effects are suffered by the witness or the surrounding area. Vallee reliability rating: 302: Reliable source, firsthand; no site visit, or answer unknown; natural explanation requires major alteration of one parameter.
