Naval officer Miguel Espanhol and another man, traveling to Ceres, saw a bright object that illuminated the countryside and came down to ground level as the truck stalled. It was oval or saucer-shaped, over 150 meters in diameter and 40 meters deep, with a dome supporting a long "aerial" with a red light on top. The bright light went off and the witnesses saw seven childlike beings, with long hair and luminous suits, who looked down at them for about three minutes. The craft flew south and released a smaller disk, which flew north.

Two red saucers, about 600 feet across, around 100 feet away, were observed by two male military witnesses, typical age 35, on a road for over three minutes (Espanhol; Fernandez; Navarrete). Seven 3-foot-tall dwarves, each wearing a luminous suit, were seen.
