Orange glowing huge object less than seven meters above the ground

Nigel Frapple was cycling home from a dance in Wincanton. At Redlynch crossroads, he saw an orange glow in a field and observed it from a hedge. It came from a huge object 35 meters away, less than seven meters above the ground, which made a throbbing sound. After one minute, it moved toward the northwest, accelerating and climbing.

An object was observed. Traces found.

One orange ball, about 80 feet across, around 100 feet away, was observed by one male 18-year-old witness in a rural area for over one minute. A swishing sound was heard.

Hynek rating: CE1: Close Encounters of the First Kind
