29 January 1950 : South Table Mountain, Colorado , USA 
A silvery-green, 20 meters diameter, ovoid object landed.
Mr. Quintana of Denver saw a silvery-green ovoid object hovering about 15 meters above a slope and landing slowly in a small ravine. Then it shot upward at very high speed. Its diameter was about 20 meters, and it had a revolving middle band. A greenish light flashed under it, and the witness felt a rush of air and a pungent smell. An object was observed. It departed by rapidly flying straight up until lost to sight. One green ovoid object, about 80 feet across, was observed by one witness at a mountain for a few seconds (Quintana).
