Two farm workers, Adolph Winkle and John Hulle, saw a strange craft in a field. They had a discussion with its occupants, a woman and two men, and were told the ship-had flown from Quincy to Springfield in 30 minutes and that the crew. was making electrical repairs. One star was observed. Adolph Winkle, born 1864 in Germany, appears in the 1900 census in Chicago Ward 11, Cook, Illinois. John Hulles appear only in New York.
