AFOSI Summary: Time: 1115; Number of Observers: 3; Reliability: unknown; Area: Alamogordo, New Mexico; Direction: appeared from south and veered off to NE; Altitude: if size of B-29 appeared to be 35,000'; Course: smooth arc; Color: white or aluminum; Train: none; Duration: 45-60 seconds; Sound: none; Shape: round ball; Size: 35,000' 4" in diameter; Speed: 1,500 mph; Disappearance: faded from view. An unidentified object was sighted, but with appearance and behavior that most likely would have a conventional explanation. One silver star was observed by three military witnesses at an airfield for over one minute. No sound was heard.
