Multi-colored, ovoid UFO
Near the Austrian-Bavarian border, Friedrich Lennartz, 33, and Peter Zettel, 29, had a close encounter of the second kind when a multi-colored, ovoid UFO A hovering object was observed using optical instruments. It zig-zagged through the air. Electromagnetic effects were noted. One multi-colored ovoid object, about 40 feet across, was observed in clear weather by two experienced male witnesses at a mountain for three hours (Friedrich Lennartz; Zettel, Peter; Zoefel). No sound was heard. Hynek rating: CE1: Close Encounters of the First Kind Vallee rating: MA2: MA1 plus any physical effects caused by the UFO.
