USAR incident. American Airlines flight encountered UFO
American Airlines Flight 21, a Boeing 747 at 33,000' encountered apparently the same UFO witnessed by Capt. Coyne and his crew over Mansfield, Ohio. An object was observed from a car. Electromagnetic effects were noted. Multiple independent witnesses. One red domed oval object, about 80 feet across, was observed in clear weather by four experienced male military witnesses at a lake for five minutes (Coyne; Yanacsek). Hynek rating: RV: Radar-Visual UFO reports Vallee rating: CE2: A CE1 that leaves landing traces or injuries to the witness. Vallee reliability rating: 444: Firsthand personal interview with the witness by a source of proven reliability; site visit by a skilled analyst; no natural explanation possible, given the evidence.
