200 witnesses see low-flying disc - 50-60 feet circular object. Explanation: Aircraft.
Numerous witnesses Tetzlaff and others saw a 50-60 feet circular object with seven lights on the bottom, 8-10 lights on top alternating in color, head northeast (or ENE) for about one mile at about 300 foot altitude, hover, jerk forward, hover, shot up vertically, hover, wavered to the NW, climbed in altitude slightly, then shot off to the northwest at high speed, disappearing. An object was observed. It departed by rapidly flying straight up until lost to sight. Animal reactions to the object were reported. One multi-colored saucer, , was observed by hundreds of witnesses (as reported to the police) in a city for five minutes. A whining sound was heard. Hynek rating: CE2: Close Encounters of the Second Kind Vallee rating: CE1: UFO comes within 500 feet of the witness, but no after effects are suffered by the witness or the surrounding area.
