A civilian had to stop his car when an object he first thought was a helicopter landed on the road about five kilometers southwest of Georgetown. The round, silver colored object was 10 to 25 feet in diameter, had an 8-10-inch ring or hoop at its equator, supported a cone with a flashing green light, and made a loud whirring sound. It appeared to hover about five feet off the ground, then left at high speed. The witness could then restart his engine, which had died during the close approach. Sulfur or a "rotten egg" smell was noted. An object was observed. Electromagnetic effects were noted. Metallic traces found.One green ball, , was observed by one male 18-year-old witness in a rural area for one to two minutes. A whining sound was heard.
