Four white lights in a stepped-up echelon formation, joined by two more
Northern Air Service pilot K. Jannereth saw four white lights in a stepped-up echelon formation, joined by two more, closing in on the airplane, then rapidly slow and fly along with it, 15 miles south of Houghton Lake. Objects were observed from a car. Six white lights were observed by one experienced male witness at a lake for five minutes (Jannereth, K). Hynek rating: RV: Radar-Visual UFO reports Vallee rating: MA1: A UFO has been observed which travels in a discontinuous trajectory. i.e. vertical drops, maneuvers or loops. Vallee reliability rating: 333: Reliable source, firsthand; site visit by a reliable investigator with some experience; natural explanation requires major alteration of several parameters.
