Thin, white ellipsoid
P. Wankowicz, RAF pilot and ex-Smithsonian satellite tracker, saw a thin, white ellipsoid (3.5x length/width ratio) fly straight and level. A cigar-shaped object was observed. One white oval object, about 20 feet across, was observed in cloudy weather by one experienced male witness in a city for three to four minutes. Hynek rating: CE1: Close Encounters of the First Kind Vallee rating: FB1: A simple sighting of a UFO traveling in a straight line across the sky. Vallee reliability rating: 333: Reliable source, firsthand; site visit by a reliable investigator with some experience; natural explanation requires major alteration of several parameters.
