Yellowish-orange diamond shaped noiseless luminous object. Explanation: Planet.
Chauncey Uphoff and Mike Hill heard dogs bark, saw a yellowish-orange diamond shaped noiseless luminous object to the southwest about 1,000 foot altitude moving east, joined by a pinpoint white light that went from southeast to northwest climbing with a possible drumming sound and when near the first object the latter blinked out. When the pinpoint light disappeared to the northwest the diamond-shaped object reappeared as dim gray to the southwest maneuvering towards them to the south about 45° elevation then southeast with a U-turn or loop, appearing on edge with a tail or trail, changing color to orange then brilliant blue-white, disappearing in the SE. Object's angular size much larger than the moon. An unidentified object was sighted, that had an unusual appearance or performance. One blue-yellow object was observed by over two male witnesses for over 25 minutes (Uphoff, Chauncey; Hill, Mike).
