Luminous disc travel at 1.5 times the angular speed of a satellite
Third Mate R. C. Chamberlin, of SS Thetis saw luminous disc travel at 1.5 times the angular speed of a satellite. An unidentified object was sighted, but with appearance and behavior that most likely would have a conventional explanation. One star was observed by one witness on the ocean for three to four minutes (Chamberlin, R C).
