Luminous disc travel at 1.5 times the angular speed of a satellite
Third Mate R. C. Chamberlin, of SS Thetis saw luminous disc travel at 1.5 times the angular speed of a satellite. An unidentified object was sighted, but with appearance and behavior that most likely would have a conventional explanation.One star was observed by one witness on the ocean for three to four minutes (Chamberlin, R C).

Vallee rating: FB1: A simple sighting of a UFO traveling in a straight line across the sky.
