5 reports of same UFO. Airline crew saw a big bright light followed by 3-4 smaller lights. Explanation: Meteor.

Pan Am Boeing Stratocruiser pilots Wilson and Moffatt, and crew, saw a big bright light followed by 3-4 smaller lights.


Objects were tracked by radar before exploding.

Nine stars were observed in undercast weather by a male experienced witness on the ocean for 12 seconds (Wilson, Moffatt).


Hynek rating: NL: Nocturnal Lights
Vallee rating: MA1: A UFO has been observed which travels in a discontinuous trajectory. i.e. vertical drops, maneuvers or loops.
Vallee reliability rating: 332: Reliable source, firsthand; site visit by a reliable investigator with some experience; natural explanation requires major alteration of one parameter.
