Intense white light lit up bedroom, dogs barked as if terrified, witness sighted to the west at about 20° elevation a biconvex dull red object about 25 feet wide with a blunt tear-drop profile approaching rapidly within ten seconds lowering height to about 8-10 feet passing about 80 feet away north of house and veering slightly to northeast disappearing from behind; five minutes later reappeared to west and made a similar pass and at similar intervals three more west-northeast passes. Object made high-pitched transformer hum, radio static noted.
