Killian case
American Airlines Flight 139 pilot Capt. Peter W. Killian and First Officer James Dee, on a DC-6B airliner flying from Newark to Detroit were 13 miles southwest of Williamsport, Pennsylvania. They saw three lights changing relative position, separation and color (yellow-orange to brilliant blue-white) at the 9 o'clock position to the SSW at 30° elevation. One blue-yellow object, about 2 feet across, was observed by many witnesses for 40 minutes (Peter W Killian).
