Oval object, about 15 feet long, bright orange
McGregor, a civilian, reported an oval object, about five meters long, bright orange, similar to glowing coals, hovering four meters above ground. The witness went to call his family; the object had vanished when he returned. An object was sighted that had an appearance and performance beyond the capability of known earthly aircraft. One orange oval object, about 20 feet across, was observed by one male witness for five minutes. Hynek rating: CE1: Close Encounters of the First Kind Vallee rating: CE1: UFO comes within 500 feet of the witness, but no after effects are suffered by the witness or the surrounding area. Vallee reliability rating: 342: Reliable source, firsthand; site visit by a skilled analyst; natural explanation requires major alteration of one parameter.
