4 reports of same UFO. Balloon-like, elongated object coming to ground level, with o touching down. Explanation: Hoax.
Winslow heard a noise similar to that of a helicopter and perceived a "burning" odor. He saw a balloon-like, elongated object that came to ground level, did not touch the ground, but rose again and disappeared. The witness was "paralyzed" during the observation. The object appeared to have generated thick smoke. Occupants of the craft were seen. Electromagnetic and physiological effects were noted. Ground traces were found. One silver ball, about 150 feet across, was observed in overcast weather by one male 58-year-old witness on a river for 30 minutes (Kravitz; Schmidt; Winslow). Six 5.3-foot-tall humanoids were seen.
