High speed 2,300 mph radar target at 50,000 feet altitude tracked/ multiple radars. Explanation: Malfunct.
High speed 2,300 mph radar target on E-W path at 50,000 foot altitude tracked by multiple radars, including 1-min track by FPS-3 at Montauk Point and nine minutes by CPS-6B at Benton, from east Long Island to Buffalo, New York (with alleged 11 minute gap in between??), triggering a White House alert, high level CIA, USAF Intelligence, IAC Watch Committee meetings. Speed varied from 1,500 to 4,500 mph. An object was tracked by radar. An unidentified object was tracked by radar and sighted visually by multiple military witnesses at a military facility for over 20 minutes.
