C-45 transport saw to the left three bright white circular objects in tight formation
USAF pilot Lieutenant Sontheimer flying C-45 transport saw to the left three bright white circular objects in tight formation on collision course. He immediately flashed his taxi lights, one object shot straight up above him the other two continued on passing in front. When he flashed his taxi lights (again?) the objects instantly blinked out and disappeared. A daytime disc was observed by one witness for six seconds.
