Six-foot silvery, balloon-shaped craft land in a field
Five miles east of McKinney, Texas. Mitchell and another man saw a silvery, balloon-shaped craft about two meters in diameter land in a field 100 meters away from them, about eight kilometers east of McKinney. They stopped their car to investigate, but the object took off at fantastic speed. An object was sighted that had an appearance and performance beyond the capability of known earthly aircraft. One silver ball, about 10 feet across, was observed by two male witnesses on a farm. Hynek rating: CE1: Close Encounters of the First Kind Vallee rating: CE1: UFO comes within 500 feet of the witness, but no after effects are suffered by the witness or the surrounding area.
