A 60 ft silver or aluminum round with a flat bottom
Experienced private pilot John Mark, flying Navion light plane, saw a 60 feet silver or aluminum round object with a flat bottom, raised front edge, inverted cone on top, fly horizontally, hover, make a high-g pull up and then a steep climb into an overcast. Radar at Dayton, Ohio, airport, tracked very fast target at same location. One ball was observed by two witnesses and radar for three to five minutes (John Mark).
