ANG F-51 incident. Round white object with no exhaust trailing. Explanation: Aircraft.

Pilot Capt. Harry Roe, Jr, flying Ohio Air National Guard F-51 fighter at 240 mph from Dayton to Columbus saw round white object with no exhaust trailing the fighter in the same position a little above and behind him at close range, detected on airborne radar (?). Roe maneuvered to try to lose the object or collide with it but it remained in relatively the same position to the aircraft until it departed to the SE. Ground controller radar tracked object (?).


An object was tracked by radar and sighted visually.

One white ball was observed in clear weather by two experienced male military witnesses and radar in a warplane for over 30 minutes (Roe, Harry Lee).
