M. Fregnale on July 18, 1952, who would remain convinced until his death that he had seen, and taken pictures, of some natural phenomenon. He believed that an extraterrestrial origin for the disc was impossible because of the large interstellar distances between star systems [Michel, 1957]. Only in 1994 were these photos subjected to a careful and detailed examination by Dr. Guerin, a professor at the Institute d'Astrophysique in Paris. A flying disc was observed and photographed. One disc was observed by one witness in a residential area (Fragnale; Fregnale). Hynek rating: DD: Daylight Discs Vallee rating: FB2: FB1 accompanied by physical evidence. Vallee reliability rating: 342: Reliable source, firsthand; site visit by a skilled analyst; natural explanation requires major alteration of one parameter.
