Bright red stationary object for 4-5 minutes
Second Lieutenant W. R. Soper, a Strategic Air Command TOP SECRET Control Officer, former AFOSI agent; and two others saw a bright red stationary object for 4.5 minutes before speeding away with a short tail. A hovering object was observed. One red round object was observed by three experienced male military witnesses near a missile for 4.5 minutes (Soper, W R). Hynek rating: NL: Nocturnal Lights Vallee rating: FB1: A simple sighting of a UFO traveling in a straight line across the sky. Vallee reliability rating: 342: Reliable source, firsthand; site visit by a skilled analyst; natural explanation requires major alteration of one parameter.
