Five flat white discs about the diameter of a C-47's wingspan
Three men on the arms range, plus Lieutenant Colonel four miles away in Apple Valley saw five flat-white discs about the diameter of a C-47's wingspan (95 feet) or length of P-51 (32 feet) fly fast about 1,000 mph at about 4,000 feet height, make a 90° turn in a formation of three in front and two behind, and darted around. One saucer was observed by five witnesses at an airfield for under 15 minutes.
