Four dark circular objects with mostly fuzzy edges each Vi the angular size of Moon.
L. E. VanDercar and nine year old son saw four dark circular objects with mostly fuzzy edges, cross the face of the Moon (in the south at 175° azimuth 77° elevation, 83% illuminated or almost full), each 1/2 the angular size of Moon. Unidentified objects were sighted, but with appearance and behavior that most likely would have a conventional explanation. Four objects were observed by two witnesses for a few seconds (VanDercar, L E). Hynek rating: DD: Daylight Discs Vallee rating: FB1: A simple sighting of a UFO traveling in a straight line across the sky. Vallee reliability rating: 342: Reliable source, firsthand; site visit by a skilled analyst; natural explanation requires major alteration of one parameter.
