Two sightings of a stationary red fireball increased in brightness

USAF pilot and radar operator of F-94 jet interceptor made two sightings of a stationary red fireball that increased in brightness then faded over 45 seconds. Target was also tracked by ground radar 20 miles south of Yakima, Washington at 78 knots (90 mph) at 22,500 feet and 25,000 feet altitude.


One red ball was observed by over three witnesses and radar for 45 minutes.

Vallee rating: MA2: MA1 plus any physical effects caused by the UFO.
