Radar tracking of unidentified target traveling at 4,320 knots about 60 miles east of Pusan, South Korea
USMC GCI Squadron three at Yongil (36° N, 129° E) CPS-5 radar tracking of unidentified target traveling at 4,320 knots (5,000 mph). Second track at 3:50 at position 36°30' north, 129°30' east (a few miles off the coast of South Korea) of large target equivalent of 6-8 jet aircraft, traveling 1,380 knots (1,600 mph) target heading 170°, faded momentarily, then continued on 120° heading until lost. Visual sighting of contrail in direction of radar track. An object was tracked by radar and sighted visually by radar. Hynek rating: RV: Radar-Visual UFO reports Vallee rating: MA2: MA1 plus any physical effects caused by the UFO. Other sightings in this area Sources: 809 |
