Large, sausage-shaped blip on radar
Radar operators Sergeant M. W. Watson, Pvt. Gonzales and another Sergeant saw a large, sausage-shaped blip (arc shape due to radar display?) tracked at about 4,800 mph. An object was tracked by radar. One object was observed by a male military witness at an airfield (Gonzales; Watson, M W). Hynek rating: RV: Radar-Visual UFO reports Vallee rating: MA2: MA1 plus any physical effects caused by the UFO. Vallee reliability rating: 342: Reliable source, firsthand; site visit by a skilled analyst; natural explanation requires major alteration of one parameter.
