USAF First Lieutenant Francis E. Parker, First Lieutenant Frank Mattson, Sergeant McCarthy, Cpl. Melton, made multiple air defense ground radar tracking of an object erratically varying height, position and speed from 25,000 to 47,000 foot altitude, 0 to 1,000 mph.


An object was tracked by multiple radars.

One ball was observed by over four male experienced military witnesses at an airfield for over 75 minutes (Parker, Francis E; Mattson, Frank; McCarthy; Melton).


Hynek rating: RV: Radar-Visual UFO reports
Vallee rating: MA2: MA1 plus any physical effects caused by the UFO.
Vallee reliability rating: 434: Firsthand personal interview with the witness by a source of proven reliability; site visit by a reliable investigator with some experience; no natural explanation possible, given the evidence.
