An intense, dull yellowish light descend vertically

USAF First Lieutenant Frank Mattson saw an intense, dull yellowish light descend vertically, then fly straight and level at high speed.


An object was tracked by radar and sighted visually.

One yellow object was observed by one witness at an airfield for four minutes (Frank Mattson).


Hynek rating: DD: Daylight Discs
Vallee rating: MA2: MA1 plus any physical effects caused by the UFO.
Vallee reliability rating: 332: Reliable source, firsthand; site visit by a reliable investigator with some experience; natural explanation requires major alteration of one parameter.
