SNJ Pilot incident. Five to eight oval objects.
Oil company executive USNR pilot Joseph C. Shell, ferrying SNew Jersey Navy aircraft trainer for North American Aviation, from Red Bluff, California, to Burns, Oregon, saw five to eight oval objects near Hart Mountain, south-central Oregon. They have a 2:1 length/width ratio, and 1/5 as thick, fly in trail formation, with an interval equal to 3-4x their length, except that the second and third were closer together. Flying discs were observed.More than five red stars, about 20 feet across, were observed by one experienced male witness at a mountain for eight minutes (Joseph C Shell).
