A very large bright, sausage-shaped object
Howard Hamm, Mr. Hubert, and Tex Keahey saw a very large bright, sausage-shaped object, with no fins, wings or protuberances, roll and fly fast. AFOSI Summary: Time: app 1745; Number of Observers: 3; Reliability: unknown; Area: Tucson, Arizona; Direction: northeast to southeast or SW; Color: silver; Train: none; Duration: 12 - 40 minutes; Sound: none; Shape: cigar or sausage shape; Size: from B-29 to a city block; Speed: 300 - 600 mph; Disappearance: faded from view. A cigar-shaped object was observed. One metallic cigar-shaped object, about 600 feet across, was observed by three witnesses at a mountain for 40 minutes.
