Brilliant green object at high speed disappeared behind mountainous horizon. Explanation: Meteor.
AFOSI Summary: Time: 310; Number of Observers: 1; Reliability: good; Area: Los Alamos, New Mexico; Direction: East to west; Altitude: three to 5° from observer; Course: horizontal; Color: brilliant green; Duration: two seconds; Sound: none; Speed: high speed; Disappearance: disappeared behind mountainous horizon. A meteor-like object was observed. One green diamond-shaped object was observed by two experienced male military witnesses at an airfield briefly. No sound was heard.
