Pilot Lowe incident. Yellow sphere in opposite course south to north at constant altitude. Explanation: Balloon.
Pilot Lowe of USN Bruno aircraft flying S at 180° magnetic at 5,500 feet saw yellow sphere in opposite course S to N at constant altitude about 1,000 feet below. An unidentified object was sighted, but with appearance and behavior that most likely would have a conventional explanation. One yellow star was observed by one experienced male military witness on a river.
