A bright orange or deep-gold colored cigarette-shaped. Explanation: Reflection.
Pan Am airliner pilot Powell and navigator White saw a bright orange or deep-gold colored cigarette-shaped (or elliptical) object 15 feet long two to three feet wide flying at 150 (or 175) mph at 7,000 feet to the east at about 110° magnetic. A cigar-shaped object was observed. One orange oval object, about 20 feet across, was observed by two experienced male witnesses.
