Navy Lieutenant incident. Two gray, circular objects about eight or ten feet diameter. Explanation: Meteor.
Navy Lieutenant William G. McGinty flying P-80 from Williams AAF at 30,000 feet heading south saw two gray, circular objects about eight or ten feet diameter, diving at "unconceivable" speed from about 25,000 feet, which appeared to land 25 miles south of the Grand Canyon. Objects were observed. They moved with a falling-leaf motion.Two gray discs, about 10 feet across, were observed by one experienced male military witness at an airfield for several minutes (McGinty, William G).
