2 June 1947 Daytime
Rehoboth Beach, Delaware, USA

Pilot in aircraft saw a silvery jar-shaped object. Explanation: Rocket.

Pilot Forrest Wenyon in aircraft flying Indiana at 1,400 feet saw a silvery jar-shaped object 15 inches in size cross in front of the plane at 1,000-10,000 mph heading east on a straight course at same altitude, with a silver-white fire exhaust. (Daytime meteor?)

An unidentified object was sighted, but with appearance and behavior that most likely would have a conventional explanation.

One silver jar-shaped object was observed by one male witness for several minutes (Forrest Wenyon).
