Crew of submarine Junon docked next to subm. Daphne.Disc on edge arrived from west, traveling south, at 10K distance dropped toward sea, made three complete loops, hovered. Vanished. Trail and halo.
A hovering object was observed. One luminous disc, about 300 feet across, was observed in clear weather by several male military witnesses, typical age 23, in a warship for 90 minutes (Figuet). No sound was heard. Hynek rating: NO: Nocturnal Objects Vallee rating: MA1: A UFO has been observed which travels in a discontinuous trajectory. i.e. vertical drops, maneuvers or loops.
