17 January 1952 Around 1500 Volcano Fuego Guatemala City S, Guatemala 
American living in Guatemala saw UFO from bus. Also second witness. Level flight path 15 seconds, then instantaneous vertical ascent two seconds. 400mph, reassumed initial course.
An object was observed. It departed by rapidly flying straight up until lost to sight. One gold blimp-like object was observed by two experienced male witnesses for over .3 minutes (Sackett, J J). No sound was heard. Hynek rating: DD: Daylight Discs Vallee rating: MA1: A UFO has been observed which travels in a discontinuous trajectory. i.e. vertical drops, maneuvers or loops.
