19 January 1956 Around 1200 Hornsby, New South Wales, Australia 
Mist, vapor: 12m wide saucer hovered for 5 minutes. Green vapor comes from port on bottom. Shot away rapidly to the southeast toward Sydney.
A hovering flying disc was observed. One disc, about 40 feet across, was observed in a residential area for five minutes. Hynek rating: DD: Daylight Discs Vallee rating: FB1: A simple sighting of a UFO traveling in a straight line across the sky. Other sightings in this area Sources: - 676 |
