Animal reaction: dogs howling in cage. Large cone with portholes hovered 4' above ground, man hunting.Sound like jet closeby. Physiological effects: right eye blinded, bruising above eye, loss of hearing, hospitalized.
An object was observed. Animal reactions to the object were reported. One metallic cone-shaped object, about 80 feet across, around 500 feet away, was observed by one male 45-year-old witness in a swamp for 40 minutes (Flynn, James W). A humming sound was heard. Hynek rating: CE1: Close Encounters of the First Kind Vallee rating: CE1: UFO comes within 500 feet of the witness, but no after effects are suffered by the witness or the surrounding area.
