12 August 1983 Around midnight Monte Capraro, Italy 
Vicente, Roberto incident.
Dogs howl. Light beam, conical, moved rapidly upward, extremely intense (over 10 kW------------- estimated by physicist witness). Horizontal row of moving lights, amber, green, blue, red. Minimum distance 300'. Eyes sore, sleeplessness. An object was observed. Physiological effects were noted. Animal reactions to the object were reported. One multi-colored elliptical, around 300 feet away, was observed in clear weather by four witnesses, typical age 47, at a mountain for seven minutes. No sound was heard. Hynek rating: CE1: Close Encounters of the First Kind Vallee rating: CE1: UFO comes within 500 feet of the witness, but no after effects are suffered by the witness or the surrounding area.
