1 April 1976 Around 2200 Angues, Spain 
Car battery found discharged next morning. Diffuse yellow light from cuppola. Sparking in lower part of object. UFO moving along highway opposite direction. Abduction possible.
An object was sighted that had an appearance and performance beyond the capability of known earthly aircraft. One blue pear-shaped object, about 40 feet across, was observed by two witnesses, a married couple,, typical age 47, on a road for over three minutes (Ballarin). No sound was heard. Hynek rating: CE1: Close Encounters of the First Kind Vallee rating: CE1: UFO comes within 500 feet of the witness, but no after effects are suffered by the witness or the surrounding area.
